    Description

Offered is a vintage USED original USCG (United States Coast Guard) 22" x 48" cloth signal flag. This type of flag is also used by the US Navy with the meaning "EMERGENCY". I cannot find any marking on this flag identifying the manufacturer. The flag is made from separate red and white panels stitched together (NOT printed). There is a brass ring on the top leading corner (3rd photo) and a brass swivel/snap clip on a short lanyard at the bottom leading corner (4th photo). This flag has some minor damage to the leading edge shown in last 2 photos (both sides of same area). It also a little dirty and has some minor cosmetic stains (mainly on the end/tip) which should be easy to clean.
I acquired this flag (along with many others) from a US Coast Guard Cutter that was decommissioned in Seattle, WA a few years back.
Please check my other listings for additional USCG signal flags/pennants.
These USCG flags/pennants would make for a great nautical display in a store, restaurant, or office (especially if several are linked together).
